Volunteer and Community Work takes up most of my free time

I have worked with The Lakeshore Kiwanis Club for 33 years raising funds to provide for many West Island Charities. We fund for mainly children's causes, but also for many senior programs as well. We also donated $10,000 to the Children's Hospital and $12,000 to build a chapel in the Lakeshore Hospital.

Since 2012 I have helped create and build the Lindsay Place Alumni Foundation; in homage to the late Judge Lindsay H. Place and the high school that bore his name. We have raised over $60,000 for the students (tutoring, bursaries, uniforms, etc) and capital projects for the school itself (furniture, sports equipment, etc)

Since the school closed in 2021, we have turned our focus to the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence. We have recently sponsored a room with a donation of $50,000 and are in the process of making good on that pledge.
